Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Kate Oates

Kate found yoga through illness. Now a yoga teacher Kate explores and celebrates Vinyasa Flow Yoga and draws upon its unique ability to challenge and tone the physical body whilst quietening the ever-active mind.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is an energetic practice, with modifications to suit all energy levels and experience. Classes focus on strengthening, heating and balancing poses to awaken muscles. Seated and supine poses build core strength and improve flexibility, and a calm closing sequence brings the body to a restorative and nurturing close. Kate incorporates themes in her classes to draw upon physical and mental focal points such as back-bends, hip-openers, opening the heart or calming the mind.
For Kate the apex of Yoga is finding strength and confidence both mentally and physically, and believes it is accessible to everyone.
When: Kate teaches on Sunday mornings @ 9:30-10:45am in the Upper Studio.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Josipa Smith

Jos teaches an alignment based, breath led Vinyasa Flow. Having been a stay at home mum for the past 6 years, Jos found balance and space through yoga. Cultivating self acceptance, courage and strength, something she understands can be challenging to find in our everyday lives. Yoga gave her opportunity to 'just be', and enjoy every moment as it is; it became her life-line and her passion.
She is passionate about the positive benefits yoga can offer anyone, independent of age, physical ability and personal beliefs. She believes there is an opportunity to learn something new every time we practise, both on and off the mat. Jos strives to provide a space where students can safely explore and challenge their bodies and unplug from the outside world. A place for her students to let go and flourish.
She emphasises linking breath with movement and listening to what the body needs. Music, physical adjustments and non-judgement are all an integral part of her classes.
When: Jos teaches on Tuesday mornings @ 9:45-10:45am in the Upper Studio.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Ange Severo

Open level Vinyasa classes with light and original flow sequences, guiding the students to move slowly and consciously with the breath allowing space for the practice to naturally happen. Focus on the breath, modifications when necessary and use of props. My classes usually are guided having a main theme to help to hold the space for the student to dive deep in the yoga experience.
When: Ange teaches on Thursday evenings @ 6.15pm-7.15pm in the Upper Studio starting from June.
