Mum & Baby Yoga with Kate Hayes


Mum & Baby Yoga classes are a great way for you and your little one to feel calm, happy and relaxed. Classes use a mindful combination of breath and yoga poses to help replenish flagging energy, bringing about a sense of balance and well-being whilst working to safely restore strength and flexibility to the body and mind. Sequences will target common areas of tension for new mums, including shoulders, wrists, upper back and neck. Special attention will be given to restoring tone to the pelvic floor and waist, strengthening the lower back and improving postural awareness.

Babies will enjoy a combination of movement, sound, physical play and baby massage while interacting with you. They will also (hopefully!) benefit from some quiet relaxation time.

Classes are supportive, friendly and informal. Mums are encouraged to do as much or as little as they wish, allowing times to respond to their babies needs as they arise. Come along, take time to nurture yourself, bond with your baby and make new friends.

No previous yoga experience necessary. Suitable for babies from about six weeks to confident crawling.

Classes are held in the Upper Studio on Tuesdays 11am-12.15pm.

Classes cost £13 drop in; £44 for 4 classes (valid over a six week period); £100 for 10 classes (valid over a 12 week period)
